Monica Agnes Ernst Trautsch entered eternal life November 14, 2020.

She was born on January 1, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Rev. Theodore Ernst and Monica Mensing Ernst.

She attended Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois, where she met her husband, Harold Trautsch; they were married on June 19, 1950.  She taught in Christian preschools and kindergartens for nearly 50 years, starting both First Lutheran School in Clearwater, Florida, and Redeemer Lutheran School in Stuart, Florida, with her husband as principal, in the mid-1970s.

She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and School in North Palm Beach since Harold's death in 2002, participating in Women of Faith, Bible study, and choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Magdala Trautsch Ray and her husband, two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
