Monte J. Solazzi passed away January 1, 2023. He was born in New York City, New York in 1936. There he was raised and is also where he founded his business of spectroscopy manufacturing. As his company grew, he moved the business down to Stuart, Florida in 1995.

Monte's successful 50 year old company is still manufacturing locally here in Palm City, Florida, and has made important contributions to the expansive field of spectroscopy with his numerous patents and trademarks. He was an accomplished scientist, inventor, engineer, and artist. In his professional and personal life, Monte J. Solazzi inspired hearts and minds. Always having a jovial story to tell, Monte left smiles and laughs wherever he went.

He is survived by his wife and children, grand children and great grand child.
