Muriel Weideman, 98, of Stuart, passed away October 20, 2019. She was born in New Bedford, MA and had been a resident of Stuart since 1974, having relocated from Pompano Beach, FL. She had been a owner of D& M Bait and Tackle in Stuart, FL. She was of the catholic faith.
She had been a volunteer at the United Way of Martin County. The most important part of her life was her family, she loved to spend time with them and her friends. She loved to travel, cruise, and she saw the country by motor home, and quite often it would take her 3 days just to get out of the state of Florida. Muriel never had a harsh word to say about anyone….and she often would say "You gotta do what you gotta do".
She is survived by her sons; Frederick, L. Batignani (Karen) of Madison, FL and William J. Batignani (Connie) of Stuart; daughters, Elizabeth Mullin of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Barbara Grass of Stuart, FL; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Weideman and 5 siblings.
Visitation: 9:00AM – 11:00AM, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City Chapel.
Funeral Service will follow immediately at 11:00AM in the Chapel.
Entombment will take place in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
