Myrtis M. Talley, 96, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Salerno Bay Manor, Stuart, FL.

Born in Highlands, NC, she had been a resident of Hobe Sound for 67 years coming from Highlands.

She was a homemaker and had attended Hobe Sound Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Joe Talley and his wife Judy of Okeechobee, FL, Tom Talley and his wife Dawn of Stuart, FL and Johnny Talley and his wife Cathy of Port St. Lucie, FL; her sisters, Mary Davis and her husband James of Old Fort, NC and Agnes Crowe of Highlands; her brother, Clyde Gibson and his wife Linda of Hobe Sound; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Corbin Talley in 2006 and her sons, Jay Dee Talley and Roy Talley and seven siblings.

There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Forest Hill Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with interment to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.
