Obituary of N. Fred Wooster

N. Fred Wooster, 73, died Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.

Born in Bradford, PA on October 1, 1933, he was the son of Norman Jay and Elva Ferol (Wickham) Wooster. He moved to Palm City in 1969 from Deland, FL.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was a retired owner of Wooster & Co. Lot and Land Clearing of Palm City and Wooster Tree Farm of Palm City.

He was Methodist.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara F. Wooster of Palm City; daughters, Melinda Lindi Kirkhart (Edward) of Palm City; Lucinda Cindy Legg (John) of Palm City; Nancy Blum (Dutch) of Palm City; 6 grandchildren, Michael Blum, Kelli Blum, John Norman Legg; Leslie Legg; Blake Kirkhart and Fred Kirkhart (Samantha); and one great grandson, Gavin Kirkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Elva Wooster; sisters, Betty Lou Wood; Margaret DeMar and Pauline Boosinger.

Services: Calling hours will be held 4 PM to 6 PM, Wednesday,

August 8, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Services will immediately follow at 6 PM with Rev. Bruce Butler, officiating. Military honors will be provided by the U. S. Army. Private entombment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park on Thursday, August 9, 2007.
