Nancy Davis Goldthwaite, 85, formerly of Stuart and Palm City, FL passed away at the Life Care Center in Altamonte Springs, FL on April 5, 2021.  She was born July 17, 1935 in Newburyport, MA.  She had been a resident of Florida since 1976, having moved from East Hartford, CT.

Nancy worked for Traveler's Insurance in Hartford, CT prior to moving to Florida.  She retired from Pratt & Whitney in West Palm Beach after 17 years, where she was a Human Resources representative.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stuart and was a volunteer at the Florida Oceanographic Society in Stuart.  She was also a member of the Martin Memorial Auxiliary Volunteers for over 20 years and fostered kittens for Caring Fields Felines Rescue.

Nancy loved to travel with family and friends.  She enjoyed three Alaskan cruises, visited Australia and New Zealand for a month with her husband, rode a train through the Canadian Rockies, visited Europe and made friends around the world.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Lionel J. Goldthwaite.  She is survived by a son, Wesley Goldthwaite of Palm Bay, FL, daughters, Pamela Monopoli (Eric) of Longwood, FL and Karen Narwold (Christopher) of Kiawah Island, SC and grandsons Brenton Goldthwaite, Davis Narwold and Forrest Narwold.  Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

Friends are invited to gather at Forest Hills Funeral Home 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL., 34990 from 11 A.M. until the services to be held at Noon on Saturday, April 24, 2021 with Pastor Jeff Bennett from the First United Methodist Church of Stuart.

A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Rocky Hill, CT.
