Obituary of Nicholas Crecco
Nicholas E. Crecco, 85, of Stuart, died June 2, 2010 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. He was born in Scranton, PA and had been a resident of Stuart since 1976, having moved from Mahopac, NY. Nicholas was a cadet and attended Missouri University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during WWII. He had worked for the New York Telephone Company and was an entrepreneur before retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Amelia Crecco of Stuart; daughters, Pamela Heldman of Eastchester, NY and Valerie Kuhn of Port St. Lucie; a son, Daniel Crecco of Boulder, CO; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Madeline Peterson of Stuart. He was predeceased by his sisters, Tina Marino and Mary Tomassi and a brother, Armando Crecco.
Visitation: 10-12:00 noon, Friday, June 4, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Service: 12:00PM in the funeral home chapel.
Interment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
