We are saddened by the sudden death of Nicholas John Demko 64 on November 12th, 2022.
Nicholas was born on September 20,1958 in Weirton, West Virginia. He attended and graduated from Weir Senior High School in 1976
Nicholas served for four years in the United States Navy as a maintenance mechanic on the USS Coral Sea Aircraft Carrier. After serving his country he attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and graduated with a degree of associate in specialized technology as an Aeronautical Maintenance Technician.
He moved to Port St Lucie Florida in 1982 to pursue a career as an aircraft mechanic at Pratt Whitney. He retired after 37 years.
Nicholas was an avid golfer achieving a hole in one on April 7, 2019 and one on June 27, 2021. He loved riding his Harley and playing pool at the local Eagles Club with good friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Nicholas Demko, mother Florence Demko and sister Laura Demko.
He is survived by his daughter MariJo Lesstino ( Scott) of Elmira New York. A grandson Christopher Seams of Elmira New York. Five step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A brother George Demko ( Lynn ) of Cobbtown Georgia. Sisters Pamela Yuill ( Barry ) of Bonaire Georgia Florence Youngers ( David ) of Colorado Springs Colorado. Nieces Melissa Grant ( Kenny ) of Prattville Alabama
Kelly Kocab ( Joe ) of Orwell Ohio Jaime Oiler (Tom) of Pinellas Park Florida, Aimee Burdick (Bobby) of Port St Lucie Florida Kathryn Youngers of Chino Valley Arizona; Nephews Nicholas Higdon ( Shannon ) of Port St Lucie Florida, Jeremy Yuill ( Desirae ) of Perry Georgia, Keith Youngers ( Jessica ) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kevin Youngers of Colorado Springs Colorado; Niece, Farron Davis (Paul) of Huntsville Alabama and many great nieces, great nephews and tons of wonderful friends
