Obituary of Norma Ashby

Norma J. Ashby, 70, of Palm City, passed away May 30, 2011 at Palm City Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born in Ann Arbor, MI, and had been a resident of the Treasure Coast since 1994, having moved from Danbury, CT. She was and office administrator before retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Monarch Country Club both in Palm City.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ben G. Ashby of Palm City; daughters, Cynthia Bethke of Pinckey, MI and Catherine Klotz of Leesville, SC; four grandchildren; twin sister, Nancy Purigraski of Palm City and sister, Joanne Appeddu of Perrysburg, OH.

Visitations: 4 - 6:00PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel and 10 - 11:00AM, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City.

Service: 11:00AM, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City.

Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

A gathering in the fellowship hall in Immanuel Lutheran church will follow the entombment.
