Obituary of Norman Benzinger
Norman Benzinger, 71, of Stuart, died June 30, 2010. He was born in Ann Arbor, MI and had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for 41years, having moved from Ann Arbor. He had been a welder having worked for Bendix at Cape Kennedy and he retired from Decker Industries in Stuart. He most recently worked as a cashier in the Garden Department at Wal-Mart in Stuart. He was a member of the Treasure Coast Model Railroaders and the Hot Wheels Collectibles Club.
He is survived by his wife of 41years, Barbara Benzinger of Stuart; daughter, Tina Engle of Houston, TX; son, Troy Pettit of MI; step-daughters, Elizabeth Kissinger of Christmas, FL, Linda Evans of Hobe Sound, FL and Norma J. Forrest of Stuart, FL; sisters, Margaret Arnold of Willis, MI and Alice Miller of Saline, MI; brother, Don Benzinger of Grand Rapids, MI; seven grandchildren and one great grandson. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jerry and Roy.
Visitation: 6 - 8:00PM, Friday, July 2, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Service: 2:00:PM, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City at a later date.
