Obituary of Olga Johnson
Olga Johnson, 97, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, Florida.
She was born in Trinidad and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 37 years coming from Trinidad via New York.
She was a dedicated elementary school teacher for many years and retired as a school principal in 1978.
She was a member of Morningside Friends Church in Port St. Lucie for many years.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Johnson and his wife Helen, and Ian Johnson, all of Trinidad, and daughters, Paula Daniel, of Trinidad and Margot Williams and her husband, Sydney of Port St. Lucie. She has 17 grandchildren, 40 great grands and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Johnson, her siblings, Edna Quamina and Charles Gibbs and her son-in-law, Malcolm Daniel.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Morningside Friends Church, the date to be announced.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
