Obituary of Olympia Owen-Cheppa

Mrs. Owen-Cheppo, was born in Turkey, and moved to the United States in 1946. She was a curator of the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Conn., for 27 years, retiring to Jensen Beach in 1982 and moving to The Villages in 1995. She understood 16 languages and spoke many of them fluently; and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her husband, John "Jack" Cheppo; stepson, Robert Cheppo, Martinsburg, W.Va.; and stepdaughter, Patricia Smith, Port St. Lucie.

There will be no services. Burial will be in Palm City.

Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages.
