Obituary of Oscar Wahlgren
Oscar Ray Raymond Wahlgren, 89, of Stuart, passed away July 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1919 in Bridgeport, CT. He had been a resident of Stuart since 1980, moving from Connecticut. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during WWII. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a B.A. He was a salesman for the tool manufacturing company, Bullard Co. in Connecticut before retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Martin County Golf & Country Club, the Masons Lodge #3 and a lifetime member of the Fayerweather Yacht Club in Bridgeport, CT.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Wahlgren. He is survived by his niece, Joan Stolfi of New Fairfield, CT and two grand nieces.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34996 in Mr. Wahlgrens memory.
A private Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
