Obituary of Patricia Burton
Patricia J. Burton, 78, of Palm City, passed away July 2, 2009. She was born to Martin and Anna Losty in Summit, NJ, and had been a resident of Palm City for 5 years, having moved from Forked River, NJ. Patricia was a graduate of Stafford Business School. She was a medical secretary, but spent most of her career as the world's greatest mom. Patricia spent a great deal of her time as a volunteer at Overlook Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital, and many other organizations, including the Girl Scouts.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Burton; daughters, Jill Burton Szklany of Palm City and Susan Burton Van Der Meulen of Port St. Lucie; son, Rich Burton of Palm City and five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34996, in Patricia's memory.
