Obituary of Patricia McMaken

Patricia Claire Bourk McMaken, 92, of Stuart, died May 4, 2013 at Stuart Nursing & Restorative Care in Stuart. She was born in Lima, OH and had been a resident of Stuart since 1970, having moved from Lake Orion, MI. Patricia was involved in the performing arts and taught ballet and tap. She later became a secretary in the mental health field. She attended the 1st United Methodist Church in Stuart and was a member of the Auxilliary to the St. Lucie Power Squadron.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Lawless of Palm City and Terry D'Angelo of Charlevoix, MI; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a sister, Sonya Chafin of OH. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald McMaken and Donald Powell.
