She was a 30 year employee of Publix Supermarket.  After retirement, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She was born in Trinidad, CO on July 25, 1944, she is predeceased by her parents, Francis J. and Betty Lou (Reasch) Murphy and brother, Michael Murphy.  She is survived by her husband, Wayne Strausbaugh and four children, Julie Cox, Dewayne Strausbaugh, Laura Kiernan and Christopher Strausbaugh.  She is survived by one brother, James Murphy, of Gas City, IN.  She is also survived by the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Daniel Cox, Brandon Strausbaugh, Kaley Strausbaugh and Kyle Strausbaugh, and great grandchild Maverick Strausbaugh.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with burial immediately following at Forest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990.
