Obituary of Patricia Voss

Patricia Helene Voss, 86, of Palm City, Florida, died September 22, 2008 at Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she had been a resident of Palm City for 25 years coming from Aurora, OH.

She was a homemaker, a poet, a florist, bee keeper and taught horseback riding.

She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City, where she was a member of the Womens Guild and was the church floral designer for over 20 years. She was also a member of the United States Power Squadron and the Sailfish Club.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Joseph A. Voss of Palm City; sons, Joseph A. Voss Jr. of Marco Island, Florida, John T. Voss of Palm City, Gregory A. Voss of Solon, Ohio, Bruce M. Voss of Fort Pierce, Florida, David R. Voss of Cummings, Georgia; a daughter Linda DiMuzio of Ashburn, Virginia; sisters Joan Duffy of Oxnard, California and Elizabeth Ann Corbett of Wichita, Kansas; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Mark S. Voss and a daughter Karen Ann Voss.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on September 24, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on September 25, 2008 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
