Obituary of Patrick Appleton

Patrick J. Appleton, 13, of Palm City, Florida, died May 27, 2011at his home.

Born in Stuart, Florida, he had been a resident of Palm City his entire life.

He was a student at Hidden Oaks Middle School, Palm City. He was a member of the Palm City Dolphins Football Team, the Martin County Pioneer Lacrosse Team and the Martin County North Baseball League. He attended the Gethsemane Ranch Ministry.

Survivors include his parents, James and Angie Appleton; a brother Marshall Snyder and a sister Bethany Appleton, all of Palm City; his maternal grandparents, Bart and Charolette Byrd and his maternal great grandmother Dorothy McAllister all of Marianna, Florida; his paternal grandmother, Vernita Clark of Port St. Lucie; aunts & uncles, Stephanie and Michael Dale, Marsha and Kevin Powers and Beth, Joe Medley and aunt Sheri Byrd; cousins, Matthew and Michael Dale, Sarah Beth, Paul and Meg Powers, Michael Byrd and Claire and Anna Kate Medley. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Appleton.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, May 31, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM on, June 1, 2011, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
