Obituary of Paul Buccheri
Paul L. Buccheri, 97, of Stuart, FL, died February 4, 2013 at his home.
Born in Roxbury, Massachusetts, he had been a resident Hobe Sound and Stuart for 33 years coming from Stoneham, Massachusetts.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army with the First Infantry Division and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and also had attended St. Andrew Catholic Church, both in Stuart, Florida.
Before retiring he had been a beautician and owner of Paul's Beauty Salon in Stoneham for 25 years. He also worked for the Stuart Housing Authority for 10 years. He taught art at the Adult Learning Center, Stuart. He was a former member of the Stuart-Jensen Elks Lodge #1870 BPOE.
Survivors include a son Ronald Buccheri of Wilmington, Massachusetts; daughters, Donna Pyatt of Stuart and Sharon McGrath of Stoneham, Massachusetts; a brother John Buccheri of Agoura Hills, California; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose V. Buccheri.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on February 10, 2013 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a vigil prayer service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on February 11, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City with military honors provided by the U.S. Army.
