Obituary of Paula Shaiman
Paula Shaiman, nee Ross, was born June 30, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, to Joseph and Rose, and is survived by two sisters, Jackie and Ava. She met her late husband Teddy while attending Lafayette HS and were married July 5, 1965. They moved to PA to raise their two sons in the suburbs. Paula worked for The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) for nearly 20 years. Paula and Teddy retired to Little River, SC, and then to Port St. Lucie, FL. An avid knitter, baker and mahjong player, she devoted her life to her family, caring for her husband in the last years of his life. She is survived by son Mark and his wife Maureen, and by son Jason and his new bride, Amy. Paula was thrilled to have two daughters to match her two sons. Services will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Palm City, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to your local animal shelter or to the American Heart Association
