Paulino Reyes of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, from natural causes.

Paulino was born on January 25, 1929, in Comerio, Puerto Rico. He attended school there until he left his hometown as a young adult to seek better job opportunities in NYC. He began working in restaurants in Manhattan in the late 1940s, working at times in different restaurants to support his family. In 1952 Paulino met and married Lydia Ayala in Manhattan, NYC and had three children. He finally saved enough
money with the help of his amazing wife, Lydia to purchase a delicatessen in Manhattan named "Sandwichcraft" and eventually a beautiful home. He retired in 1989 and relocated to Florida.

Paulino was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Lydia Reyes and is survived by his children; Nanette Serrano of Port St. Lucie, Paul Reyes of Albany, NY, and Sandra Camacho of Port St. Lucie. Paulino was immensely proud to be an Abuelo (Grandpa) to four grandchildren; John Anthony Serrano, Crystal Serrano-Kizer, Nicholas Camacho, Michael Camacho, and great grandfather (PAPA) to four great-grandchildren; Natalia Joann, Anthony John, Matthew Jonathan and just this year, the newest member of the family, 4-month-old Cameron Nicholas Camacho.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. with funeral service following visitation at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow immediately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
