Pearl Irene Shaw Knapp

Pearl S. Knapp, 100, died on June 21, 2011 in Boulder, Colorado. Born in Limerick, New York, she lived in Stuart for 24 years, then moved to Boulder in 2002. She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl O. Knapp, in 1992 and by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter Vernita Cannon and her husband of Boulder and six nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, CO 80302.
