Obituary of Pearl Pfenninger

Pearl D. Pfenninger, 94, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at her residence in Palm City.

Born in Pennsylvania, she has resided in Martin county for 50 years coming from Pompano Beach. She has resided in Palm City for 45 years.

Prior to retirement she was owner operator of Jensen Beach Novelty Company for 45 years where she designed and manufactured shell novelties.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors: Daughters, Priscilla Yates of Somerset, NJ and Betty Moore of Avon Park, FL; sister, Ethel Hahn of Palm City; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; six brothers and four sisters.

Services: Calling hours will be 2 PM to 4 PM, Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM, Monday, January 15, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
