Our beloved, Peggy Joan Mirabella Carbonaro, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Born April 10, 1941 in New Rochelle, NY to Michael and Elda Mirabella, Peggy spent her childhood surrounded by a loving family. Peggy and her brother, George, shared a close bond that has endured throughout the years. He remembers how Peggy would set the dance floor on fire at all the family weddings. We could always count on Peggy to be the first one jitterbugging!

Peggy, and the love of her life, Jay, were married for over 61 years. Two sons completed their family. After moving to Florida, Peggy and Jay worked side by side to build their business.

The couple shared a love of travel and together they had many amazing adventures around the world. Peggy knew how to live life to the fullest. Peggy loved her friends and especially enjoyed playing Bunco and Mahjong with them. With her signature warmth and wit, she'd add laughter and light to those get-togethers. Peggy was the heart and soul of her family. She adored each of her five grandchildren. Peggy found beauty in life's simple moments and was happiest surrounded by those she loved the most.

Throughout her health battle, Peggy really showed how gracious, courageous, unselfish, and compassionate she was. They say with great love comes great loss. Peggy, rest knowing that your family and friends love you greatly and will miss you deeply.
