Obituary of Phillip Morris
Phillip E. Morris, 74, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.
Born in Madison, WI, he has resided on the Treasure Coast since 1988, moving to Jensen Beach in 2005 from Palm City He came to the area from Hudson, Ohio; prior to that he lived in Wheaton, IL.
Prior to retirement he was a vice president of marketing in the hardware industry, after retiring to Florida he and his wife, Donna, owned and operated Signs in One Day.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge and had been an active volunteer for Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., and attended the Routes Support Group at Hospice.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Morris of Madison, WI and Kimberly Stites of Sammamish, WA; stepson, Jeff Carpenter of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Katherine Morris Mefford of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Donna and his wife of three years, Rosemary; son, John; and daughter, Margaret Meg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Memorial Services will be held, 1:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2007 at St. Marys Episcopal Church, 623 East Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 34994.
