Obituary of Ralph Garrett
Ralph "Steve" Steven Garrett, 56, of Okeechobee, passed away December 29, 2008 in Stuart. He was born in Richmond, IN, and had been a resident of the Treasure coast 50 years, moving from Indiana, and had been in Okeechobee for the last 5 years. He attended Martin County High School. He had been a heavy equipment mechanic and operator in the construction industry on the Treasure Coast.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lisa Wall Garret of Okeechobee, daughters, Hope Garrett Kiernan and Karen Botelle both of Port St. Lucie; sons, Steven Donovan Garrett of Okeechobee, Brant Andrew Garrett of Port St. Lucie, Tom Botelle of Stuart, John Botelle of Tequesta; mother, Phyllis Brooker of Manchester, TN; seven grandchildren; sisters, Linda Garrett, and Joy Claus of Manchester, TN Joanne Cross of Virginia Beach, VA; and brothers, Michael Garrett of TX and Donald E. Garrett of Okeechobee.
A visitation will be at 1 - 3:00PM, Saturday at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
A funeral service will follow immediately at 3:00PM, in the chapel.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
