Obituary of Ralph Ivany
Age 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 17, 2007. Mr. Ivany was born on March 31, 1923 in St. Johns, NFLD, Canada. Mr. Ivany moved from Canada to New York in 1949, where he had been a pharmacist for many years. In 1988 he retired from the New York Telephone Company and moved to Port St. Luce, FL. Mr. Ivany loved to sing and has sang at many churches in the Treasure Coast. He was a member of the Treasure Coast Church of God.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Helen of 59 years, his daughter Susan (James) Franzen of Wisconsin, his brother The Reverend Harold Ivany of St. Johns, Canada and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. (772) 287-8484.
