Obituary of Randi Hummel

Randi Hummel, 88, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Treasure Coast Hospices in Stuart.

Born in Chicago, IL she moved to Stuart in 1996 from North Carolina; she had lived in Palm City prior to that.

She was a homemaker and retired owner of Floralia Florist in Indianola, Iowa.

She was a member of the Lutheran faith and the Sons of Norway Gulfstream Lodge.

She enjoyed traveling and designing floral arrangements.

Survivors include her son, Richard F. Hummel, Jr. and wife Janice of Murphy, NC; daughters, Nancy Mahoney and husband Dennis of Bolton, MA; Denise Christman and husband, Joe of Jensen Beach; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Hummel; brother, Erling Berge; great grandsons, Christopher Parker, Jr., and Matthew Rodriguez.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.

Services: Calling hours will be 11 AM to 1 PM, Monday, November 12, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, November 12, 2007 at the funeral home with Chaplain Al LaBrec of Treasure Coast Hospices officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
