Obituary of Raquel Lopez

Raquel M. Lopez, 67, of Port St. Lucie, FL, died May 21, 2014 at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 12 years, coming from Bronx, New York. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She was a member of the Great Love Ministries, Augustine, FL.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Peter Borges of Port St. Lucie; her daughter Ana Lopez Finneran and her husband Kevin of St. Augustine, FL; her sons, Ramon Quiles and his wife Debbie of Bronx, NY and Juan Quiles of Port St. Lucie; a stepdaughter, Lisette Borges Siple and her husband Frank of Miami, FL; a stepson, Peter J. Borges III and his wife Andrea of Ocala, FL; her brothers, Billy Baez Lopez and his wife Angie, George Lopez, Carlos Lopez and his wife Uchie, Hector Lopez and his wife Nora and Johnny Lopez and his wife Maria; her sisters, Iris Lopez and Millie Lopez; a sister in law, Tita Lopez; her grandchildren, Peter, Raquel, Samantha, Joshua, Sierra, Faith, Juan Jr., Christian Daniel, Gabriel, Leyla, Joy, Tiffany, Peter, Madison and Emmie; her great grandson, Brian; her father-in-law Pedro Borges and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Borges, Steven Borges, Frank Borges, and Jerry Borges. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Lopez and Ana Pagan Lopez; her brothers, Ismeal Lopez and Louis Lopez and her mother-in law Carman Borges.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Monday, May 26, 2014, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. The funeral service will be at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
