Raymond Blanchette, 89, of Deerfield Beach, FL died Thursday, September 10, 2009, at North Broward Medical Center.

Mr. Blanchette was born in Bridgeport, CT and lived in Palm City before moving to Deerfield Beach, FL.

Raymond was owner of R & R Sales Water Purification Company in Deerfield Beach, FL, and a charter member of American Legion Post 162 in Deerfield Beach, FL, Moose Lodge, Pompano Beach, and where he was Financial Officer for 9th District, for the American Legion in FL and a member of St Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Survivors include sons Jerry Blanchette of Hagerstown, MD, Michael Blanchette of Weston, FL, 2 daughters Elaine Volano of Deerfield Beach, FL, Michele Kiefer, of Suches, GA, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 - 8:00PM, Monday September 14, 2009 at All Faith Funeral Home, 1444 S. Federal Hwy Deerfield Beach, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Ambrose Catholic Church Deerfield Beach, FL. at 12:00 noon Tuesday September 14, 2009 with full military honors. Entombment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
