Rebecca "Becca" Kathryn Mee , 31 , passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 28, 2023. Becca was born in Willingboro , NJ on April 10, 19 92. Formerly of Hamilton , NJ and Stuart, FL, Becca relocated to Pearl, MS 5 years ago where she worked in her dream job as a Local Government Records Analyst at the Mississippi Department of Archives & History.

B ecca was a committed Christian who attended Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS . She fou nd great hope and comfort in her faith in Jesus Christ and served in many children's , women's and young adult ministries throughout her life . Becca graduated from Southeastern University with a B achelors in History and Southern New Hampshire University with a Master s in History. S he was a voracious reader, aspiring writer, passionate historian, dedicated Bookstagrammer, caring cat mom to H ermione Jean, adoring aunt, thoughtful niece, protective cousin, faithful friend, doting granddaughter, devoted sister , loving daughter , a compassionate and kindhearted young woman , and a Jersey Girl at heart.

Becca will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. She is s urviv ed by her parents Christine and Sam Watson of Stuart, FL and William and David Bailey of Mount Holly, NJ, her sister and b rother - in - l aw Chelsea and Brett Rocker of Port Charlotte , F L , nephew Steph en Rocker, m aternal g randparents William and Joann e Case of Roxie, MS , and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends .

Visitation hours will be he ld for family and friends on May 6, 2023, beginning at 10:00am, followed by a Celebration of Life s ervice at 12:00pm at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Becca's name to the Sarcoma Alliance or Room to Read .
