Our cherished mother, sister, partner, and friend Rena Jo Perkins, age 63, of Fort Pierce passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020. After leaving Miami Norland Senior High School in 1973 to attend a private school, she graduated in 1975. Rena lived in Miami for the early part of her life, where she worked numerous jobs including serving at to make sure her family's needs were met. In 1991, she relocated to Fort Pierce to be closer to her mother, whose sight was failing her. It was there that she attended school for healthcare and earned her Certified Nursing Assistant license. She found happiness in this profession, creating lasting bonds with multiple long-term patients, who were lucky to have such a compassionate person in charge of their care. Her other successes were found in real estate, managing properties for Home Properties, LLC, a company founded by her brother. Rena was generous with her free time, caring for her mother on most of her few days off, tending to her family on the others. Her interests included collecting stamps and vintage toys. She also enjoyed cooking, singing classing rock songs, gardening, and spending quality time with her family above all else.

Rena is preceded in death by her parents Josephine Perkins and Leslie Perkins, Sr. She is survived by Arlena Adderton and David Diven; children, Stephen Diven; partner Karen Carroll; sister, William Patacchia; uncle, Joseph Carroll; nephew, and numerous cousins and friends.

A visitation service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Plam City, FL 34990 with Father Jack Barrow officiating. The service will conclude shortly after 11:00 AM. The family would like to express our thanks to Brian and the staff at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
