February 3 rd , 1930 – July 27 th , 2021

Renate Eberhardt, 91 of Sarasota and Port St. Lucie, Fl passed in peace at home on July 27 th , 2021. Renate will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Renate was born in Bremerhaven, Germany in 1930 to a Mr. And Mrs. Gottart.

Renate was a loving and caring woman who captured the hearts of many. Her family was the center of her world. She was an active member of the German Club of Port St. Lucie and Nightingale's Singing Club.

Renate was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Erich Eberhardt. She is survived and remembered by their children: Marie Eberhardt, Karen Long (Joel), Lori Long, Renee Gourley (Glenn), and Jennifer Sigmon, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held from 10-11:00 a.m on Monday August 2 nd , 2021, with a service to follow at Forest Hills Palm City Chapel.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota.
