Richard Klein Desmond (Dick), age 89, born October 16, 1928, passed away March 8, 2018. Born in Ironton, OH, Dick was the only child of Michael and Edna Desmond.

Dick earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at The Ohio State University, and served in the Army Reserve after college, reaching the rank of Major. Dick was an accomplished attorney who worked in the public law practice of Squires, Sanders & Dempsey in Cleveland, OH for 44 years before retiring in 1996. He was a long-time member of St. Dominic's Church and Shaker Heights Country Club, both in Shaker Heights, OH.

Dick is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 62 years, Mary Jo, his four children Cathy Murphy (Rod), Susan Bielski (Chris), Mike (Anne) and Jim, as well as his nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
