IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard Bernard
Maslak
August 18, 1940 – July 26, 2023
Richard Maslak, 82, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on July 26th, 2023. Born on August 18th, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, Richard was of strong Catholic faith. He was married to the love of his life, Marie, for 62 years. He was also a proud member of Knights of Columbus and earned an honorary membership after 57 years.
He served in the Army and National Guard for a total of 8 years before finding his love for food and cooking Polish food, true to his heritage. He owned two restaurants in Michigan for over 14 years before moving to south Florida where he pursued a career in real estate for 30 years. At family holiday gatherings he would cook and serve all the traditional Polish dishes.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. During the renovation of his son-in-law's racetrack in central Florida, Richard's love for the service industry sparked his interest in taking ownership of the concessions at the track which he ran for several years.
Distinguished by his love of family, he cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. RIchard is survived by his wife, three children, six grandchildren and many grand pets.
