Richard OBrien went to meet Our Lord On October 31, 2022. He was born in Sanford, Maine and grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey. He leaves behind Arleen, his "bride" of 53 years, three children, Richard and his wife Noreen of Jupiter Florida, his daughter Suzanne and her husband Tom of Union, New Jersey, and his son Michael and his wife Maria, of Jersey City New Jersey. Richard had six grandchildren: Thomas, Andrew, Ritchard, Danielle, Daniel, and Benjamin. He was blessed with three great grandchildren, Emily, Blake, and Jackson.

Richie had a great life. He served honorably in the United States Army stationed in Germany with the 10th Mountain Division. Richard also served in the Tennessee Volunteer Honor Guard as a rifleman for 8 years. He was a scout master with Troop Eight  in Elizabeth, New Jersey and received the prestigious world wide Wood Badge for exemplary adult service.

Richie enjoyed life helping others and will be missed for his kind and thoughtful ways. He was a true gentle-man!
Richard moved to Palm city six months ago and was a communicant at Holy Redeemer Church in Palm City.
