Obituary of Richard Peck

Richard H. Peck, 82, of Port St. Lucie, formerly of Stuart and Palm City, died June 25, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. He was born in East Orange, NJ and had been a resident of the Treasure Coast since 1991. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Korean War as a U.S. Rangers First Lieutenant. Before retirement, he was the owner of Peck Cadillac Oldsmobile Dealership in New Brunswick, NJ. He was a member of Plainfield Country Club in NJ, Willoughby Country Club in Stuart and Martin Downs Country Club & Monarch Country Club both in Palm City.

Richard was an avid golfer, loved to water ski, world champion skeet shooter, fishing enthusiast, and most importantly, took great pride in his family.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy M. Peck of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Susan D. Wentlejewski of Apache Junction, AZ and Laurie A. Kape of Westfield, NJ; and 4 granddaughters.

Services: 10:00AM, June 29, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm city.
