Richard Lee Rose, 68, of Port St. Lucie, passed away December 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Kansas City, MO and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1988, having relocated from Lantana. He had been a fabricator in the sheet metal industry before retirement. Richard started his career at J. White Aluminum in Boynton Beach, and he also worked for Pratt & Whitney and Aerojet Rocketdyne, both in Jupter. He was a member of the Masonic Gulfstream Lodge #245, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local #971 and the Dollar Shave Club.
He is survived by his son, Eric Rose and daughter in law, Kimberly Rose of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Shannon Steryou and son in law Nickolas Steryou of Port St. Lucie and Beverly Rose and son in law Timothy Gilbert of Colorado Springs, CO; 4 grandchildren; mother, Virginia Rose of Lantana; girlfriend, Diana Nelson of Port St. Lucie; and sisters, Linda Cunningham, Lorena McCullough and Benita Casper.
Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the chapel.
Burial: Saturday December 8, 2018 in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, following the funeral service.
