Obituary of Richard Sheltra
Richard "Pops" Edward Sheltra, 56, of Indiantown, died June 9, 2012 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He was born in Newport, VT and had been a resident of Indiantown for 54 years, having moved from his birthplace. He was the owner and operator of Sheltra and Sons Construction Company in Indiantown. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Indiantown, and a member of the Texas Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Grace Sheltra of Indiantown, sons, Richard "Roc" Sheltra and his wife, Laurie Jean and Patrick Sheltra, both of Indiantown; mother, Carmen Sheltra of Indiantown; sisters, Judy Humphrey, Diane Douglas and Bonnie Beach all of Indiantown and 3 grandchildren, Rylee Sheltra, Trinity Sheltra and Dallas Sheltra. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sheltra.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 5:00PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Indiantown.
