Obituary of Richard Smith
Richard Albert Smith, 70, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.
Born in St. Albans, NY, he moved to Palm City in 2000 from Port St. Lucie, where he had resided for five years, coming from Coram, LI, NY.
He was a construction supervisor and was employed for Hanover Homes in Tradition as a project manager.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
He served in the Army National Guard of New York and the United States.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Loretta A. Smith of Palm City; daughters, Loretta Ann Robinson (Bernard) of Palm City; Michele Ann Reilly (Chip) of Katonah, NY; six grandchildren, Alexis and Richard Robinson; Michael, Amelia, Mackenzie and Devon Reilly.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Smith.
Services: Calling hours will be 5 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2007, with a Vigil service at 7 PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM, Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
