IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard Anthony
Soricelli
January 28, 1941 – June 17, 2025
Richard Anthony Soricelli, 84, of Palm Bay, Florida, peacefully passed on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. On January 28, 1941, Richard was born in New York to the late Gerard and Antoinette Soricelli. Richard is survived by his four children, Carole Soricelli (Nancy Del Pizzo); James Soricelli; Cathy Soricelli; who he shared with his former wife, Loretta Pace; and Richard Soricelli (Kimberly) with his loving wife, Lillian (nee Falcon), who he married on February 14, 1980. He is survived by his sister Linda Faella (Ronald), his grandchildren, Mackenzie (Patrick) and Blake, and a great grandson, Hudson, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Nicholas Soricelli.
Richard began an accounting career after obtaining a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from Manhattan College (now University). He and his wife Lillian relocated from Queens, New York to Port St. Lucie, Florida, then Lake Wales before making their home in Palm Bay. Richard was a lover of science fiction and adventure tales. He also enjoyed music, particularly the Beatles, Chicago, George Benson and Les Paul. Of his many attributes, and there were many, Richard was the King of "dad jokes," which he would never hesitate to share. He also had a knack for weighing in on trivia in many topic areas. Richard also loved animals and is predeceased by his many dogs and cats.
He lived his life as a man of faith and loved being a husband and encouraging father. Richard also never passed up an opportunity to enjoy a shellfish dinner and reveled in his fishing trips to the lake. He enjoyed baseball, having played in his youth. Although the New York Mets would remain close to his heart, he learned to cheer for the Tampa Bay Rays.
