Rita S. Goldberg, 87, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on March 13, 2018 at Abbey Delray Health Center.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she had been a resident of Florida for 29 years coming from West Long Branch, NJ.  Currently residing in Delray Beach, she had been a resident previously of Hutchinson Island, Jensen Beach, and St. Lucie West.

She was a graduate of the University of Louisville (Kentucky).

She was a homemaker. She was a former member of Temple Beth El Israel, Port St. Lucie, FL where she was on the board of the Sisterhood.  She previously had been a member of the Fairlawn Jewish Center, Fairlawn, NJ where she had been the president of the Sisterhood.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Boris S. Goldberg of Delray Beach; her sons, Michael Goldberg and his wife Robin of Red Bank, NJ and Kenneth Goldberg and his wife Shari of Farlawn, Ohio; her daughters, Lauren Martin and her husband Bill of Melbourne Beach, FL, Judy Stradley and her husband Jason of Aurora, IL and Elizabeth Goldberg  and husband Danny Maloney of North Providence, RI; her brother, Jerry Seligman of Atlanta, GA and Louisville, KY; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL followed by a reception in the Forest Hills Funeral Home.
