Our Loving Rita, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2019 at Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida. She was born on October 22,1929, just celebrating her 90 TH birthday, having enjoyed the celebration with family and dear friends. She was the youngest daughter of Mary and Arthur Frankini of Iron Mountain, Michigan. There were 5 siblings. Rita being the last to dance on this earth. She is also preceeded in death by her first husband and the father of her 4 children, Gordon Lee Barnhart. By her son, Arthur Scott Barnhart and her dear husband of 50 years, Dominic Sica's two children, Joseph and Kristin.
Rita had such a love for life. She was a joyful spirit that touched all that knew her. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed tennis, golf, skiing. She had been a ski instructor for a period of time and she loved it. She appreciated all the arts. Music, art, theater and most of all DANCING! She, herself, a lovely painter. She had a love of fashion, having been in the fashion business in her early years. Rita volunteered many years for different causes. Her favorite having been a volunteer in Martin Memorial Emergency Department for 20 years. She enjoyed many travels with her husband, Dominic.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dominic Sica. Her three daughters, Nancy Grace, Susan Barnhart and Ellen Barnhart and her dear grandson, Robert Grace, all of Stuart, Florida. Also Dominic's three surviving children, Kimberly Brown and her husband, Doug, Marilyn Sue Sica and Michael Sica, all residing in the Akron, Ohio area. She Is survived by all of her many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren on the Sica side of the family. She loved them all as her own! She has been adored by our many cousins, her nieces and nephews, with whom we share many cherished memories.
