Obituary of Robert Aune

Robert R. Aune, 98, of Sewell's Point, Florida, died Tuesday October 21, 2014 at his home. He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and had been a resident of the Sewell's Point for 34 years, after moving from Milano, Italia.

Mr. Aune had been the president of Amoco Italia in Milano, Italia before becoming president of Amoco Europe in London, UK from which he retired and returned to Milano for a few years. During World War II he served as a navigator in the US Army Air Force.

He was a charter member of the Stuart Coffee Club.

He is survived by his wife Gabriella Aune of Sewell's Point. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jane Aune and his step-son, Marco Marconi.

There will be a memorial service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel, Palm City, FL, Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
