Obituary of Robert Aylsworth
Robert Lloyd Aylsworth, 96, of Palm City, passed away November 27, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. He was born in West Branch, MI and had been a resident of Palm City since 1974, having moved from Michigan. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, having served during WWII. He was a manager of maintenance for Ford Motor plants in Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Brazil, before retirement after 37 years with the company. He also worked for Triformation Systems in Stuart, FL.
Robert was a member of the Masons. Since retirement, he enjoyed working in his garage doing metal and wood work.
He is survived by his son, Robert Aylsworth of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kathleen Aylsworth Brantigan of Denver, CO; son, Craig Aylsworth of Detroit, MI and daughter, Wendy Aylsworth Alden of Los Angeles, CA; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Leggat of Boca Raton, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Rozema Aylsworth.
Visitation: 12:00PM - 1:30PM, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
Funeral service to follow immediately in the chapel.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
