Robert Leroy Cartwright of Palm City passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 83.

He was born on December 20 ^th , 1938, in Okeechobee City, Florida, the son of the late Leroy and Mary Thomas, adopted stepfather Leroy Cartwright.

Bob grew up and resided in Florida his entire life.

Bob is survived by his wife Betty of 45 years. His daughters Debra Lewis (Cary Miller) of Tallahassee, Diane Mosley (Ronnie) of Ocala, son Robert Cartwright of Ocala, Stepsons Andre' Varona (Kim) Palm Beach Gardens and Louis Varona (Diane) of Cayman Islands and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He began his career as an Operating Engineer in 1966 for Local 0487 in Miami where he was a member for over 40 years before retiring.

He was a Mason.

A lifelong avid fisherman, boater, and hunter. After retiring he enjoyed researching the family ancestry.

He had a generous heart volunteering frequently his church. Bob was a very hardworking, loving, kind man. He is deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home Tuesday, May 31 ^st , 2022.
