Obituary of Robert Dedlow
Robert Eugene Dedlow, 76, died Thursday, February 08, 2007 at University Place Care & Rehab., in Gainesville, FL.
Born in Danville, IL, he has resided in Gainesville since October 2006, coming from Hobe Sound, where he had lived for 34 years. He lived in Florida for 50 years.
Prior to retirement he was a landscaper.
He was a former member of First Baptist Church of Hobe Sound; a former member of Faith Bible Church of Jupiter; and member and elder at Evangel Church of Melbourne, FL.
He was a former Boy Scout Leader, Jupiter Troop 115. He was an initiate of Gulf Stream Council AAL-PA-Tau Lodge # 257, Order of the Arrow.
He had attended University of Illinois, where he studied business and landscaping.
He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Dedlow Reiker, one granddaughter and his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary M. Dedlow of Gainesville, FL; daughters, Rosellen Dedlow of Gainesville and Kathlena Marie Flowers of Quitman, GA; and two grandchildren.
Services: Calling hours will be 6 to 8 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, FL. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, February 11, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Hobe Sound.
Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
