Robert "Bob" Erlandson, 74, of Stuart passed away on January 1, 2021. He was born in Jackson, Tennessee, and had resided in Stuart since 1985, coming from Wisconsin. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

He was a devoted employee throughout his career to Outboard Marine Corporation in positions including Special Product Development Coordinator, Small Engine Design Manager, Product Development Manager, and retired as the Facility Manager for the Ralph Evinrude Test Center in Stuart. He was also a volunteer for the United Way and March of Dimes and served on the Environmental Studies Center Board of Trustees.

Bob enjoyed spending his free time boating, offshore fishing, perfecting his grilling skills, off-road motorcycling in Michigan, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his perseverance, his unconditional love for his family, and for his witty sense of humor.

He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Ann Fox (Matthew) of Stuart, FL, and Julie Lynn Carr (Brian) of Seminole, FL; grandchildren Audrey, Alexander, and Brice; his sister Faye Westby of West Bend, WI; his brother Howard Erlandson (Cynthia) of Alpha, MI; and other special relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Charlene Ann Erlandson; his parents Howard and Elma Erlandson, his brother David Erlandson, and his infant sister Judith Erlandson.
