Robert Lewis Finley, 81, of Palm City, passed away August 24, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. He was born in Waterbury, CT and had been a resident of Palm City since 2001, having relocated from Southbury, CT. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Robert attended the University of Connecticut, and he became a manufacturing engineer, inventor and entrepreneur.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Finley of Palm City; son, Robert Finley Jr. and his wife, Margaret Jo Wuest of Stuart; daughter, Kristine Anne Finley Martelli and her husband Louis Martelli of Meriden, CT and grandson, Kyle Finley Orde of New Hartford, CT. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry D. Finley III.
There are no services scheduled.
Internment will take place in the Finley Family plot in Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown, CT at a later date.
