Robert "Bob" Michael Hoffman, Sr. of Stuart, FL passed away Friday, August 30, 2024.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Deanna, son Robert Michael Hoffman, Jr. of Palm City FL;  daughter Michelle Federico (Louis) of Grant Valkaria, FL; grandchildren Hannah Dubinsky (Caleb), Louis Joseph Federico and Ava Marie Hoffman; Sister Roberta Skislak, brother in law Don Potts, 4 nephews, and 2 nieces.

Bob was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on September 18, 1935. He loved his country and served in the naval reserves from 1953 to 1961. He was a cost engineer for United Engineers in New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Pennsylvania and finally moved to Florida in 1974.  After United Engineers, Bob took a job with FPL and retired with them in 1994. He enjoyed polka dancing with Dee where they traveled the country and overseas. He learned to play the accordion at age 10 and continued playing throughout his life in 3 polka bands and entertaining residents in local nursing homes. Bob's pride and joy were his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them play sports and wouldn't miss a game or function of theirs.

Services for the Celebration of his life will be held : viewing, Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 5-7 pm.
Funeral is Thursday September 5, 2024 at Noon at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, Fl.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to Calvary Chapel Stuart or Treasure Coast Hospice/Veterans.
